Well, this weekend was fun. We visited my sister and took her out to a yucky dinner. We were impressed how bad the food was. Then I saw her fridge. The girl had two oranges in her fridge. Two oranges people. Thats it. She had a bag of chicken pieces in her freezer, and food storage style food in her cupboard. She said she didn't need food. Daniel and I decided that next time, instead of wasting $25+ on bad food we will go buy that much worth of groceries. I guess she will be getting breakfast and lunch provided at her summer job, so she will be able to eat more balanced meals. She also lives alone, but I have never seen her fridge so bare. The worst part is that she will refuse to take money from us, a 'loan' is even hard to give her.
I got sick this weekend. Its called a sneezy sniffly coughy, can't sleep Good Times! I got some medicine and a pack of cough drops and it seems to be helping. Of course, I can't sleep. (I fell asleep earlier and then woke up.) It was a better choice to get up and go downstairs than wake the baby.
This morning on the way to the car for church, Alice decided to try and run into the street. She didn't get very close though. She broke out into a run by the car and right before Daniel grabber her to put in the car, she face planted. Right on her forehead. Giant scrape/bruise thing. It turned pink, then sort of purple, and I could see little bits of bleeding. Anyone that has wipes out on a bike knows what it looks like, and how much it hurts. Alice got to sport one huge bandaid all day. Everyone asked what happened. The bandaid didn't hide the swelling, but at least it hid the gross looking part.
I haven't done much for enrichment. I made the flyers and they went into the Relief Society folders, as well as on the bulletain board, but the lesson and (possible) handouts? Yeah, I got nothing. Plus, whatever I encourage people to do, I should be doing myself. After some reading I like the idea of keeping the 3 month supply of food in big storage bins marked with dates for rotating. But, I don't have that. When I told Daniel about the enrichment (in 10 days) he asked if we needed to get the rest of our food storage together. Technically, yes. But, lets face it, I don't have the time or energy to get that done right now. I may get an official 3 month's supply though. Or at least enough of a 3 month supply to drag to the church for part of my lesson. Its been so long since I have done any teaching in Releif Society, so the whole thing mght flop. That means I need lots of visual aids. Lots and lots of them.

MagicJack = Fun times with Customer Support
So all day yesterday the magicjack software was rebooting itself. Like 4 times in Daniel's 15 minute break. It will put the person you are talking with on hold, then shut down the software and reboot it. The most annoying thing was last night it started asking us to verify our email and password. The password is one that was auto generated because even though they say you can sign into your account and reset, we have yet to find that option. So its a password of letter-number-letter-number etc. Like 10 digits of etc. Annoying!
This morning I started the computer and it happened again. Like multiple times very quickly.
So I talked with customer support.
Monica was CSR #1 of the day. We installed the upgrade software (the stuff I had just done on my own 30 min before, but that's cool) And she said she reset our account so it wouldn't keep asking for the email and password.
Sweet.
I rebooted the computer and let her go. It asked me for the email and password, but I thought it was because we reinstalled the software. I tried to make a phone call. I called my sister. 30 seconds into my message (she is in class) the software put her machine on hold (ironic) and rebooted.
Back to the customer service. This time I talked with Kenny. Oh my goodness, 45 min to 1 hour of going into hidden folders, moving to different usb ports, etc. And now, the magicjack software wouldn't even start! Frustration.
Finally he said he was doing some stuff on his end and I needed to turn off the internet router/hub for 5 minutes and then try again. Ok the easiest way to do that is shut down the computer and turn off the power strip. Which I did.
I then changed a nasty nasty diaper (my second for the morning, and hopefully the last of the day) and put some dishes in the dishwasher. Maybe 10 minutes later I turn the power strip on and boot up the computer.
Normal looking start up screen. All teh junk about the drives hit escape to do stuff...blah blah. Then nothing. Blank screen. The screen of input 1 on the TV when nothing is on.
Odd I will reboot the computer again.
The same thing happened.
Jiggah wha??
Ok commence test the magicjack on the laptop.
Run grab laptop from upstairs, plug it in. Get magicjack to plug into it. Then it happened.
Miracle!!!
The screen started booting windows. Freaking wierd miracle, but miracle nonetheless.
I went ahead and installed the magicjack on the laptop so we can take it with us for christmas and fall break.
Then I plugged it back into the computer tower. Nothin.
I tried a port in the back. Nothin.
I tried every port on the thing (2 in the back, 4 in the front) Still nothing.
Seriously?
Ugh.
I put on the usb port extender (the thing they say to not use cause it can cause minimal interferance on the line. Miracle of miracles. The software loaded. And it didn't ask for the password. I called Rachel and left a second message including counting the time to see if it wuold shut down. Her machine ran out of space for messages. (heehee) (^_^)
So the phone is back in commission. And Daniel only left me like 6, 10 second messages. I really like that happy face. (^-^) (^-^) (^_^) Both are good. And since the baby has passed out I might even do a second post! In one day! Fancy fancy! Lots of these !!!!! (^-^)

An Earthquake??
I came downstairs this morning to find the giant puzzle picture, kept above the mantle, on the floor. What the heck?
The little mirror, 2 pictures (one of which has a glass frame) and our little "Family" photo album (also glass) had come crashing down.
What the heck?
So as I was cleaning up broken glass I realized the giant picture came out unscathed. How lucky. The Melbourne Temple picture, from the COwards, broken in the corner. The glass frames "Sweethearts" picture of Daniel and I, totally destroyed and the picture was wet. Naturally we had a cup of water there after our DDRing last night also fell, and the shattered frame allowed the picture to get wet and adhere to the glas that was not broken. Bah.
The photo album, was of course soaking. I have all the pictures pulled out and drying on the living room floor. The paper liner stuff that was in each page is somewhat destroyed. Luckily none of the old pictures from my paresn't wedding and from when I was 5 or younger were destroyed. The strange thing is I heard what sounded like a rattle fall, but cannot see one of those anywhere.
Oh yeah, and my pen basket is deaded. Totally crushed under the giant puzzle picture. Thats probably the only reason why that glass didn't go crash as well. Oh yay Alice is wet again.
Did you know if a baby is starting solids for the first time, thier poo smells like what they eat? I don't know if I ever want to eat oatmeal again.
